Unique lacquerware box

Filed under: Miscellaneous — thefusionguy @ 10:58 pm

I recently served on a review panel for the KSTAR research device in Daejeon, Korea. The KSTAR group gave these lacquerware boxes to the panel members by way of thanks for their participation. The box has an image of the KSTAR tokamak in mother-of-pearl on the top, and NFRI (National Fusion Research Institute) on the front panel. You don’t see something like this very often!

  1. Neat! That sort of looks like the Millennium Falcon from Star Wars. 🙂
